The TOP 10 attractions not to be missed!

Go to Red Beach: Red Beach is one of the most picturesque and interesting beaches on the island, located near the village of Akrotiri. The reason for its popularity is its color.

Visit Amoudi and swim in its crystalline waters: Amoudi is a must to discover, you can spend hours there, this place appeals to both lovers of snorkeling and epicureans who wants to taste the local cuisine in one of the taverns dug in the rock.

Discover the village of Oia: Oia is the most famous of all the villages of Santorini. He is known around the world for his quiet life and fantastic sunset, and is certainly the most beautiful and picturesque village in Santorini.

Photograph and visit a church: They are characterized by exterior white walls and blue celestial domes, but some, the largest ones, have clear ocher towers and inside there are very beautiful Byzantine stained glass windows.

Stay in a cave house: The architecture of Santorini is truly unique. Yposkafo (troglodyte house) was the type of house built by the poor society class of Santorini in order to stay protected by gusty winds. Nowadays, famous architects have transformed these cave houses into modern and luxurious resorts.

Admiring the most beautifull sunset: Although the most famous is at Oia Castle, you can admire a spectacular sunset at Fira, Firostefani and Imerovigli (we recommend you to see it from Skaros to Imerovigli)! In order to get a different angle from the sunset having all of Santorini in the frame, you should go to Faros to Akrotiri, where you will be almost alone. Another option is to choose Profitis Ilias (Pyrgos), one of the highest places on the island, or Vlihada Beach, where you will be fascinated by the volcanic landscape changing the shades of colors at sunset.

Book a romantic dinner on the rim of the cliff: Santorini appeals to the five senses, these must be complemented by a delicious and elegant meal in one of the most beautiful places in the world: on the edge of the Caldera. Although Santorini has many outstanding restaurants outside the caldera, a romantic and unforgettable evening is worth the effort.

Try local cuisine: Santorini not only offers one of the most beautiful postcard landscapes in Europe, the Greek island is full of delicious products born from the richness of a volcanic ecosystem. Among the most popular bites (mezedes): Greek salad (xoriatiki), eggplant salad (melizano salata), octopus (oktapodi), tomato stuffed (tomato keftedes), local humus (fava), celery dip with yayurt (tsaziki). All these dishes accompanied by a bottle of “Santorini” assyrtiko, with its metallic acidity and its unique characteristics.

Walk the 13 km path, 350 meters along the rock face: What is interesting in this route is that it includes all the villages that are on the edge of the cliff and facing the Caldera: Firostefani, Imerovigli, Oia. For the return, you can choose to go along the sea crossing the locality Baxedes.

Walk on the Santorini dormant volcano: Choose packages that include visiting the volcano and hot springs. Spend some time in Thirasia to explore the undeveloped Potamos and Manolas settlements and swim in Korfos (Old Port), where you can enjoy your meal in one of the picturesque tavernas. Having the sight of Santorini on board is surely an experience not to be missed.
